An avid believer in creating your own way, Tara has spent much of her time in New York building projects alongside others in various capacities.  Subsequently, whether she's on-stage, off-stage, on-screen, or in the background, Tara's favorite part of this industry is the story.
Tara's first self-produced project, a one-woman show entitled Seams & Songs premiered at The Duplex Cabaret & Piano Bar in New York City in 2016.  The sixty-minute long cabaret weaves her dual careers together by chronologically recounting her time in New York, singing songs from the myriad of productions she's worked on both on and off stage.   Since its premiere, it has been produced a total of three times to sold-out houses.
Wanting to expand her horizons into the TV/Film industry, Tara spent the last year creating her first television series, Under the Influence, which tells the story of Chloe Kendrick - a twenty-something, New York millennial - who chooses to quit her office job to rest her livlihood on the shoulders of social media as a full-time influencer.  This dramedy written, produced, and starring Tara was filmed this past fall and was produced by  Viridan Coast Studios.
Under the Influence is currently in post-production and slated to hit the film festival circuit later this year.
