is a Connecticut native and Manhattan actress, musician, dresser and designer.
She holds her Bachelors Degree from Western Connecticut State University where she studied Theatrical Performance and Design.  As she wears many different hats, Tara has earned and received a myriad of amazing opportunities both on and off stage since moving to New York in 2014.
She starred as Zoe Tiller in the new musical #LoveStory at the NYC Fringe Festival in 2015, and has also performed in many new, developing musicals such as Tonya and Nancy: The Rock Opera, The Most Miserable Christmas Tree,  Dex! A Killer Musical, Facings, and more with a myriad of working professionals. Other favorite New York credits include Grease, I Love A Piano, and Almost, Maine.
Tara also spends her time as a freelance Wardrobe Supervisor and Dresser.  She has been on the production teams for the Broadway Revival of CATS, Heathers, Desperate Measures, Songbird, Himself and Nora and is currently dressing the Broadway production of Pretty Woman at the Nederlander Theater.  She has since become an active participant in fundraising for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids; having joined the casts of CATS and Pretty Woman on the last three volumes of Carols for a Cure, and performing at the Minskoff Theater and the New Amsterdam Theater for the 31st Annual Easter Bonnet Competition and the 29th Annual Gypsy of the Year Competition, respectively.
By weaving her dual careers together, Tara wrote a one-woman show entitled Seams & Songs recounting the ways in which her time both on and off stage have paved paths towards creative development and success.  It debuted in September of 2016 and has since been produced a total of three times; most recently at The Duplex Cabaret & Piano Bar this past September.
Over the last year, Tara was seen in the The Gallery Player's production of Chess, in Schoolhouse Rock The Vote at 54 Below with Broadway Celebrates Awareness of Women's Suffrage, and in #LoveStory at The Green Room 42, where she reprised her role as Zoe Tiller.
She is gearing up to start rehearsals for the US Regional Premiere of The Bodyguard at White Plains Performing Arts Center this Spring.
